Title: Wood Duck Babies?

I captured this image in Cambridge.

From a distance, the adult bird seemed to be a wood duck female.

Are they wood duck babies?

Not exactly ducklings but certainly juvenile as can be seen by the vertical line
on the face. Didn't you see adults around?

SS, yes, I think the mother was near by. There seemed to be a white ring around the eye of the mother, but she was hiding behind some bushes.
