Is this an example of improv vole-playing?
Is that a real vole, or are you dangling a mock vole
from 2 lb monofilament? Does this vole have super
powers? Were you playing with the vole up until the
vixen arrived on the scene and usurped the rodent?
Did you just happen to encounter the fox and then
noticed it pulling out its favourite vole to practice
vole-ball? Pull out from where? Let's not dwell on that.
You left so much to the imagination. But that's the Meghan
way, isn't it? Make the viewer work out all the angles and
not just serve up a feast of consummate photo work,
as delicious as ice cream, to be voraciously enjoyed.

Wow, what a series involving vole-ball ( thanks SS for coning this phrase, love it) - perfect timing for all these shots.

I apologize to everyone. I made a typo.
It was meant to be voleyball.
But I guess everyone knew that anyway.

You're a nut!
lol
The Vixen would bring food to the Kits each morning. She always had a mouthful of mice and voles. Everytime the Kits would follow her back to the den to eat. This was the only time I had a Kit come back out in the open to eat. She played with this volr for over 15 minutes before finally becomeing bored and burying it in the grass
