Title: Humming Bird, Milton
Post by: Napper on September 22, 2020, 09:31:00 AM
A bit of a surprise this morning. I was on the deck with my coffee at 8:45 am when a Humming bird visited.

I stayed as still as possible as it was only 4 feet away at the Rose of Sharon. I took a couple of steps back and  It came to rest facing me on our temporary clothes line, then flew off.

A few minutes earlier I thought I saw something that looked like a Humming bird fly along the back fence and thought nah can't be its September 22nd.

And again, another feeding at the Rose of Sharon's by the front Window. 11:40 ish

BTW there are 14 Rose of Sharon's in the back yard and 6 by the front window. They just keep multiplying .
We probably have at least 10 Rose of Sharon's at our place in Tiny, township.
We give away 10 to 20 new plants every year.
