Title: Snow Geese
Post by: Paul O'Toole on September 25, 2020, 07:03:54 AM
Discovered 3 yesterday after seeing some white bobbing head in a corn field in a flock of Canada Geese. A little ways off track for sure.

Just the other day, while walking (walker) with my nonagenarian father, I commented to him that we should be very cognizant of the dry sidewalk, trees in leaf and warm breeze because soon enough there will be snow to contend with. I was also thinking to myself that at least there will be photos of birds-of-the-snow from Paul O’Toole on the nature forum: Snowy owls, Snow Bunting, and Snow Geese. I just didn’t expect to see something interesting so soon. Very nice captures … close-up detail and flight shot.
I’ve never seen Snow geese, but I have seen my share of snow.
