Please help identify this bird that i saw at Pipit Point, Tommy Thompson Park, Toronto ON on October 23rd 2020.

I believe it is  Clay-colored Sparrow.

Not a Swamp Sparrow? The tan upperparts remind me one.

Yeah, that's probably it. It looked lighter coloured than a Swamp Sparrow, but that might just be a photographic effect.

I would go with Swamp Sparrow
