Hey everyone, I just went to High Park for my first time on Tuesday, it was a beautiful day. I spotted a Nashville Warbler, and many many woodpeckers were calling all afternoon. For those who like hawks, I live in the Yonge st. & Steeles area.
There is a single Red tailed hawk who lives in the neighbourhood. He or she can be sighted almost every day, right south of Centrepoint Mall. Especially in the morning. There is also a Cooper's hawk that lives in the neighbourhood too.

the red tailed hawk landed in my backyard near centrepoint the other day i got some good pictures of it sitting in the trees but when i was changing my camera's batteries it flew away :( oh well im sure thats not going to be the last time i see it. where did you see it?[/img]

The hawk is usually sitting behind a persian plaza where the new Willowdale pharmacy opened. There is a park behind the plaza. The hawk can also be seen sitting atop a grey apartment building during the morning/afternoon, or soaring around it.
