Title: Sorry!
Post by: Dr. John on January 11, 2021, 07:57:31 PM
I removed my thread as I realized on my way home that I am not supposed to publicize details about the location of certain species.  I see so few of them that I forgot about this issue.  Sorry again.

This particular bird is so well known and is such a celebrity (having a retinue if aliases) that mentioning its appearance on that stage is no revelation, or precious secret now exposed. The level of acclimation to human presence displayed by this bird is beyond further influence, so your indiscretion toward this individual remains inconsequential but your show of concern is admirable. This owl is definitely part ham.

It did seem very comfortable!  It flew closer to the people watching from the road, landing on a perch about 15 feet away.
