Title: Eagles?
Post by: Piokii on February 14, 2021, 05:08:41 PM
Was skating on grenadier pond today,  and saw two massive hawks, riding thermals and rarely flapping. Seemed to see a light head and tail but sadly bright only my hockey stuff,  not my binocs. Anyone else able to confirm possible eagles in high park today / recently?

Also got up close with a resident Red Tail, always a treat.
Thx,  stay safe everyone!

Not sure high park. One was spotted at Colonel Sam Smith. Twice within half an hour in the afternoon, I missed it though.

My parents who live on Lake Ontario in Port Credit have spotted BE's at their place with regularity in the past couple of years.
