Title: Scarlet Tanager at the spit
Post by: Brian S. on May 19, 2008, 12:51:17 PM
Spent an hour at the spit this cold and windy morning.  Things were pretty quiet.. lots of Kingbirds, Yellow Warblers, and Baltimore Orioles, a Canvasback, Gadwall, Black crowned night herons.  Was about to get on the shuttle when, in one tree, there was a bay-breasted warbler and a scarlet tanager... which made up for the cold!
