Warblers are hiding and singing, glad at least the sandpipers were out and about.
-
Both Kingfishers were out. Does it mean there are hatch-lings in the nest hole now?
-
I think the male didn't drop the fish in the nest, maybe pass it to the female to do the feeding, because I saw it again on my way home fishing again.

Nice finds on a ice day. You are the monarch of kingfishers. The queen to the king. I guess that 600mm lens really brings them in. How well does a f6.3 lens AF when coupled to a camera that generally demands nothing slower than f5.6? Apparently you are not having any problems since you're cashe is impressive. Perhaps I should say the monarch of the mid-Humber area. Yah, that's it! The reigning soveryin of the Humber and someone that can be relied upon to administer CPR to this site.

Thanks, and thanks for reminding me by saying the word Monarch, because one Monarch flew by when I stationed to capture the female kingfisher.
I will need to study for your question

What did he see? And my deer friend came to see me, but I didn't even have an apple for him.

You are getting some good Kingfisher photos Anny, they seem to be trusting you.
