Title: Humber River Trail June 1 Mourning Warbler

Decided to venture out in the morning, seemed to be a good idea, it's quite windy now.

Lot of fledglings, so I met so many angry parents.

That NC seemed to be the same one from last year, in the same area too. He stared at me, because one fledgling was hiding about 1 meter in front of me in the grass.

Way to go! A Mourning warbler in the morning and without warning ... how charming. Haven't seen a warbler yet, (on the street or along the adjacent woodlot). Nothing moves in the bushes, or on the ground, or in the trees ... except the wind.

This guy did warn me. Distinct songs, so I searched him out. Glad he popped out in the open eventually.

You're right, I like water backgrounds. Always crop so that the direction of the bird's perspective offers more frame area than the opposite direction of view. I can't demonstrate because a re-cropped (by me) version converted to a jpeg file only delivers a thumbnail image on the hosting site, which excludes much of the intended aspect ratio.
