Title: SS at Downsview
Post by: Ally on June 27, 2021, 09:53:46 PM
Haha, tricked you. Did I? Not Shortsighted, a Spotted Sandpiper. I took some kids there again today, one of the hottest and windiest days. Glad it at least didn't rain. I only had the 55-250, so didn't expect to get many pix, and was happy this Sandpiper decided to land on the nest box.

No, you're not fooling me. Just another decoy. Tricky deployment though ... on a very windy day, and all. Downsview Park has no shade and therefore perhaps not the best choice in this heat. Then again ... no trees means no hanging caterpillars, Clingy caterpillars, clingy ticks and clingy, sticky clothing. It's a bit much ... n'est pas?

SS at Downsview? Haha, what a great caption Ally. I haven't been to the park for a while - good to see some wild lie photos from there through your lens.
