Post by: Napper on August 11, 2021, 12:15:04 PM
Arrived at the beach yesterday afternoon with le dog.
While relaxing on the deck under Gazebo two Hummingbirds visited the bush by the laneway. One Hairy Woodpecker banging on our oak tree, got a couple of dead branches that have to come down

Got a pic of one

Somebody up on my lake posted a great vid of a RBW feeding at a hummingbird feeder -- this is up on Manitouwabing Lake about 20 km northeast of Parry Sound. At one point in the clip a RTH flies in and then backs off when she sees the woodpecker feeding at her feeder. I looked at their range and Parry Sound is outside the range...not by such an extend that you'd call it an accidental or anything but I'm wondering how many are making their way up there.
