Title: Grackle's Everywhere, Tiny township

Today before the storms rolled thru. There were Grackles everywhere here.. Must be a gathering place for migration.. Three  years ago something similar happened at the Township offices in Tiny Township. Grackles and Red Winged Blackbirds in the hundreds in Early September..
I got an image of two Hairy Woodpeckers today "juveniles" it took me a while to figure out what they were.

Yeah, I hade a flock of at least 500 grackles migrating southwest in Elgin County this morning, so they are on the move.

Scores of Grackle gangs are marauding about here in west Pickering too. Imagine if they all decided to settle and form their own community ... Grackleopolis. Grackles on one side of the track and RW-blackbirds on the other side. After all, blackbirds matter! Come to think of it, I have not seen a single catbird all summer. That's strange. Maybe a few Rusty blackbirds might stop over at Amos pond this fall. That's only a few minutes away.
