I was wondering if anybody could direct me to a location which is reliable for Ruby-throated Hummingbird not too far from Mississauga where we live. I put up a feeder here in mid-Mississauga and, not surprisingly, there have been no takers here in the concrete jungle. My wife, a non-birder, would like to see one: she has only seen one hummingbird and that was the Rufus at Niagara Falls a few years ago. Obviously, a feeder would be ideal but we know of none where we could sit around comfortably.
Thanks in advance

I would just wait longer - colder than normal spring and the numbers haven't shown up yet. I have 3 feeders in my backyard and nothing as yet.

This past weekend I was seeing them regularly (at feeders) in New Liskeard which is about 450 km north of Toronto, so they have probably made it here also. But unfortunately I don't know specifically where to look for them here.

They arrive here in Halton Hills (Georgetown / Terra Cotta area) every year around Mothers Day (the consistency is stunning)
They stay and breed here and are regular visitors to my feeder all summer long.
You might want to check out Willow Park in the Village of Norval (Winston Churchill & Hwy. 7 - Northwest Brampton)
Though it's early in the season, they do have a butterfly garden that attracts hummingbirds as well.
The park entrance is at the west end of the village on the north side of Hwy. 7

Thank you to those who replied to my query. No success yet: I did go to Willow Park in Norval but found the Butterfly Garden in a bit of an unkempt state. There were lots of House Wrens around as well as the usual birds__it's a nice little place.
I went to the Huron Fringe Birding Festival at MacGregor P. P. a few years ago and remember Hummingbirds zipping around and , if I remember correctly, there were feeders at the visitor centre. Does anybody have more recent knowledge of this place wrt Hummingbird feeders?
Thanks in advance
