McKellar makes me think of a Scottish basement pub and lake M is all about fishing. There is the McKellar bird sanctuary but I've never been there. I've never been anywhere in the last forty years. That includes fishing, which I did regularly in the day. I'm pretty sure that I fished that lake at some point ... back in my 20's. Vague memory makes me think of American Bittern. The reedy bays may be productive if you have a boat, canoe, or kayak. Dinu has probably been there. He's been everywhere. He probably has a key to the town. Wish I could help you ... wish I could help anyone ... but eets beeyon me ken, laddie.

No, I haven't been there either. I've birded Bracebridge, Huntsville, Algonquin and even in Parry Sound but not this particular location.
