Title: Orange-crowned warbler
Post by: Shortsighted on October 08, 2021, 08:54:57 PM
Having 1 - 1.5 meter high weeds in the yard helps attract all manor of rarities. Unfortunately I may eventually need to pull all those weeds and fill several wheel barrow loads and cart them off to the tangle of the street-side woodlot. I'm not looking forward to that job and may never actually get the time to execute the plan. In the meantime I check it several times a day for twitching of the tall weeds.

He looks like he doesn't want the job either. I should whisper some other cute bird for you. How about Scarlat Tanager for tomorrow?

Meanwhile in Ally's backyard. Not exactly someone I hoped to wait for me at the door, after dark...
Blue jay was vandalizing again.
