Wow how interesting! Very fashionable. When I saw crows or ravens with wet feather, I used to notice they have whittish feather underneath.

I saw this back in the 80's in a bird that lived in my parents' neighbourhood for maybe 5 years....but it had an added quirk...top bill was longer than bottom...and it seemed to be the head of flock....
Do raven's and crows interbreed? I know we have a few ravens in our area (West Grey) -- I have finally been able to positively ID one...but I hear them often....often they're way too high for me to truly ID although I figure given how high they are, if I can see them they're not crows I figure....but I notice a large variance in crow size....
