While I was watching the effect of climate change on the BBC Winter Watch this Carolina Wren turned up at my feeder.

Wow, did he sing for you? Those guys sing very nice songs, much nicer than those of house wren. One use to sing at the top of my neighbour's tree very early in the morning for a whole month several years ago. I wish to see a wren now, any wren.

I didn't  hear any song, but that might have been because the bird was female (I can't tell the difference) or our resident hawk was nearby.
