Saw what I thing was an Upland Sandpiper, standing on a post on a dark section of wood fencing with 1Km south of Old School Road, on the west side of Chingacousy Road in south Caledon. This was about 7:00 Monday evening. I did not go back and was driving, so got a quick, good look at the bird. May try to check it out in the next few days.
Good birding

Took a chance on Friday, June 13, a sunny morning at 10:30 to see if the bird was still around and there he was, large as life on a fencepost whistling away. If I ventured too close to take a pic he just flew off to the next post.
Location: Chingacousy Rd. in Brampton/Caledon. Go 2km north of Mayfield Rd. He stayed on west side opp. no. 12669 driveway. Sorry I'm late posting but had a week's worth of problems with computer! Pics to follow when I learn how to post.
