Title: BestBirding Apps
Post by: cabz on May 26, 2022, 08:27:51 PM
Just upgraded my iPhone to an iPhoneXR.  Have enough room now for a birding app for ids!!!!

Will research some.  Know about Merlin.

Just curious what birders out there use, opinions etc.

Any advice and info please.

Thanks in advance.

Good birding!!!

Had to abort our trip to Rondeau due to car trouble!!!  Did get 65 species in my short visit there!!!

Merlin is definitely the best app that you may find anywhere. Now with sound id available, it has become really very useful tool in the field for me.

Thank you both for your replies.  Thinking more about this, i want one that also does international, hoping maybe Portugal in the winter and possibly Japan next year.
