Title: Merlins, Balm Beach
Post by: Napper on July 12, 2022, 01:15:48 PM
A couple of days ago I spotted a small bird of Prey with it's catch fly over the trees behind the house. Yesterday I heard a Merlin calling from the top of the tall pine across the lane.

Had a group of Wrens chattering away in the bushes in front of our place last week I have pics. I think they were House Wrens feeding their young ones.

Lucky you! I haven't seen a merlin for ages. They are full of characters, with the eye makeups and everything.

How did you ever find a Male Harrier, let alone get it to call? To quote someone famous: I ain't believing nothing without pix.
