Here we are sitting on the deck at the Beach and the Boss says look at this bug! it looks like a Scorpion.
I grab the handy dandy camera and take a few shots then g**gle insect with long tail.
Perfect match! Good news for our Beetle and Grub issues. see link

The only insect that visited me today was on the step beside me ... a Common Whitetail.

I see them with some frequency at home....but I have 3 acres of "lawn"....always lots of grubs...it was lawn 18 years ago when it was legal to spray....now it's mostly clover, wild strawberry and other things...not that I'm complaining.
