Title: Hummingbird, Milton
Post by: Napper on August 23, 2022, 05:39:58 PM
Hey!We are at home for a few days for appointments. I was home last week for two days then back to the Beach.Milton was like a Desert :(
Upon our arrival after two days of rain things were looking better. Yesterday was a total washout with even more rain. Our Rose of Sharon's are no longer looking dry roasted. I spotted a Hummingbird out the front window this morning. First of the year here! Haven't been here much though, 10 days at home since the end of May.
Heading back up in a few days. I was still seeing Warblers at cottage Monday. Three Hairy's in the tree at end of driveway all at once. I'll compile a list of what was in the yard up there later. I have slightly better Warbler pics as well.
Napper :) Milton

You captured the wings beautifully ... just at the forward limit! The green background works too, despite the hummingbird being a greenish-yellow. Although my old feeder is busted I still see a hummingbird in the backyard from time-to-time.
