I am confused about the bald eagle migration.


I thought they are residents in Toronto for the most of the winter. Are they moving south now or later?

Most eagles migrate south  starting end of Sept thru Oct, but some stick around all winter depending upon food supply and open water, can be found along Lake Erie waterfronts like Nanicoke.  Look for days with cold mornings and warmer afternoons,  with strong north winds which will bring them down from north
