Title: Foxes in Scarborough
Post by: Lee on June 16, 2008, 06:06:14 PM
I was on Guildcrest Ave. in Scarborough, just west of Guildwood Parkway.  I parked my car and as I opened the door, a fox trotted along across the street from me!  People were watching it so I went to talk to them and it seems they have a family of 5 kits and the mom living in their backyard.  The people were a bit upset as they can't use the patio set - the foxes lounge on the chairs all day.  They can't let their cat out (for that I'm glad, I don't like cats roaming!!) and they were complaining that the squirrel population has dropped.  Since when do people feel so sorry for squirrels?  Anyway, I wish I could have seen the kits but was only able to see the mom.

There are a lot of foxes living in the Bluffs area this year.
