Title: HEADLESS WOODPECKER
Post by: Shortsighted on November 01, 2022, 07:32:53 PM
One of the scariest sights that befell me during the daytime of Hallowe’en was a headless woodpecker clinging to the trunk of a tree and banging its headless stump onto the bark with a soft thud and spurts of blood. What a pointless exercise! The real point is where the woodpecker’s head might actually be stuck. Poor woodpecker. It is so unlikely to get a head in life. If only it could still see, then it could find a local hedonist. Yet it couldn’t even pay through the nose to cover the bill to make it whole.
