Those Mountain Bluebird photos are awesome. If it is from where I think it is then I was one of paparazzies that was present on Halls Road in Whitby on Nov 30, 2015 to see it. Yes, there were plenty of people there on that day, some were actively chasing it as it moved from one pole to another along the pathway.
