I often hear goldfinch high in the trees down the street, or in local parks. For the past two days I've had a male and a female on the feeder ... finally. It seems to me that in years past they arrived much sooner and on a regular basis. Overall though, the feeder does not see much action nor does the feeder on the property behind me. Me thinkst perhaps it is the cat that hangs around the yard. Some neighbour, I don't know whom, has a cat and lets it roam around wherever it wants. Typical! I suppose it could be worse. Could be a pet horse.
