Title: Hermit Thrush, Milton April 28
Post by: Napper on April 28, 2023, 11:27:00 AM
I just happened to glance out the back door this morning and spotted this guy on a garden shovel at the back fence. Opened the door and took a few snaps
It is a bit cloudy today. The bird didn't move from this position until I tried to get a little closer because the of an obstruction.

Wow! Right in the backyard, and I had to go to a park into the woods with rubber boots to see a few. Back in 2012 I had one in the backyard, although it may have been a Swainson's, can't rightly recall. Nothing since then, although I did have a Brown thrasher a few years ago. Thanks for sharing.
