At 7 a.m. this May 10th I noticed the FOY male hummingbird on the feeder. This year's feeder has a plastic grid across the orifice with fenestration just large enough to allow a hummer's tongue to reach the nectar. Sadly though, a Baltimore oriole can't access the nectar as was possible with the old device. I didn't think of that feature when I bought it.
