No, Ally ... it's not a leaf. It has four legs and a brain. You might even say that it has a one-track mind.

Since no one has guessed what the posted image depicts, or more likely no one cares one way or another what it depicts, I might as well reveal the truth. The patterned surface is a close-up of a beaver's tail. I caught a photo of its tail just before it entered the water.
