Title: More Birding from the Deck
Post by: Napper on May 13, 2023, 11:14:39 AM
This morning was cool and sunny but that did not deter all the wildlife that is flying around here from making themselves heard. Spotted two Red Headed Woodpeckers in the tall Oaks across the lane, I heard what sounded like a Gray Catbird somewhere in the trees next doors. Pine Warblers and Chipping Sparrows just to confuse things.  Cardinals, Crows , Robins, Chickadees, Gold Finches and I spotted what looked like a Great Crested Flycatcher way up there at the top of a tree. I have not heard an Eastern Wood Pewee as of yet.
