It was so quiet, and they changed the flowers in the garden, so I didn't even see a hummer.

I also saw a common yellowthroat far away.well they always have nice Rhododendrons.
-
It took so much will power not to pick them

You had quite a successful outing, for sure with good sharp photos and excellent exposures ... nicely done. I couldn't go out today but if I had I'm certain that it would not have turned out as well as your day unfolded. I guess that the weekend crowds didn't hold you back or stifle your photography. When I went out yesterday it was almost impossible to take a photo anywhere near the main drag because of the enduring pedestrian parade. You have a terrific eye for finding an Indigo bunting. You seem to locate at least one of them every year. I have not even glimpsed one in years. Getting one to appear in a spot where I can actually use my camera ... well, forget it!

Thanks, and please remember I have you to thank for the sharpness and control of exposure of my photos.

You are just too early for the hummingbirds, most of the flowers they like are annuals at Riverwood , and don't flower until end July/ Aug

From some social media posting I could tell that the humming birds are back in Riverwood.
