Very dark and gloomy early this morning. I'm not fond of these ISO 3200 mornings because I'm not cranking it up beyond 1600. Not as cool as I expected and much more overcast than I expected. The lake was fairly calm because of the NE breeze. No activity in the tall cedars. No activity at all until about 8:00 a.m. and even then, not much. I didn't take many photos because the light was too feeble, the birds were mostly high up, and repeat shots of warblers I've already seen but now taken under such poor conditions is a pointless exercise. I'll post a couple of shots in the photo section.
Sightings include: Cardinals / Blue jays / Song sparrows / Lincoln sparrow x 1 / Goldfinch / Hermit thrush x 2 / Chickadees (not many) / Great Blue Heron / Bay-breasted juvenile warbler / Magnolia juvenile warbler / Common Yellowthroat juvenile / Hummingbird x 2 / Least Flycatcher / Palm warbler (several) also juveniles / Common Merganser out on the lake.

I didn't photograph much in terrible light. I thought that I posted a couple of shots but they don't appear to be present. Odd.
