While the woodlot immediately across the street is not exactly my backyard it remains a stones throw away from it. Saw a twitch close to the ground and discovered a Common Yellowthroat. It was cautious but not flighty. I guess I stunned it just as it was waking up. Inexperienced, with a soft pale yellow throat made me think it's a juvi.
