Pete's limestone terrace is so engaging that it almost seems staged. It's just too pretty. Retention pools of still water right beside active water might attract both Louisiana waterthrush and Northern waterthrush, the former preferring moving water. Beautiful place. Thanks for posting.

On Pete's Dam Road, I met a couple of friendly horses. They ran a long way to say hello to me. I regretted not to be able to offer any treats.
