I told myself I could afford two hours in the park.
Lots of kinglets hard to photograph. Saw a Magnolia and a couple of cape may too.

Can someone ID this? There are a couple of phoebes.

I don't think that the top shot is a phoebe. Maybe a Lancaster bomber.

Your student watches too many American war films. The Lanc was used by the Brits in WWII and some manufacturing occurred in Canada, as was the case with the plywood-bodied Mosquito medium-bomber and all-around super plane that could be shot full of holes and still deliver a pizza on time. Don't even think of asking me how I know that.
