Title: Leucistic House Finch
Post by: Charline on January 19, 2024, 08:01:18 AM
It might be a female bird because it came with a male.

Sorry for the low quality. It was photographed in low light and through a dirty window.

Cool! It will have to do until the B&W warblers arrive. If it's a female ... I'm thinking Leucy. Wait for it ... which means that the male ... is Ricky. A white Leucy is just wrong. Lucy had red hair. I fear that I'm being silly again. Somebody STOP me!

Wow, that's quite an interesting looking bird!  Hopefully she sticks around for awhile.   :)

It's a juvenile male! I just got some video clips. He has some red feathers on his back.  ;D

Will post a video later.
