Title: Red-headed ducks @ Bluffers
Post by: Shortsighted on February 14, 2024, 06:13:48 PM
Mostly Mallards and some Bufflehead ducks present but a couple of Red-headed ducks flew in for a brief visit. Last year it was a Pintail that just flew in when I was standing there, as if on cue. Both the boat launch site and the boulders skirting the water's edge make it difficult to get down to the level of the water although I would have put more of an effort into it if there was something uncommon present. Very bright light therefore 2/3 of a stop under-exposed to manage highlight burn-out.
