Title: Birding from the deck, Beach
Post by: Napper on May 10, 2024, 09:06:22 AM
Hey! the last few days have brought a whole new set of sounds to figure out as the birds are very difficult to view.  Today I finally figured out my mystery bird from last year. That bird is  Black Throated  Green Warbler. I also thought I was hearing Pine Siskins but after listening to warbler song it sounds more like Northern Parula's.
Red Bellied Woodpeckers calling all day long usually way atop the canopy and Eastern Phoebe's calling somewhere behind the house.
It was nice this past Tuesday but temps have dropped off quite a bit since then. Waiting for a contractor to repair our main heat source. Burrrr.

P.S Pileated's are around daily

oops bellied was breasted
