It was the first time in my life that I saw a nighthawk!

Cool to find one perched. I’ve seen them flying in Toronto. The only perched one I found was in San Antonio.

I had hoped to catch it flying out. Just as I tried to check my battery level, it flew out. I was so disappointed.


I was lucky enough to have some decent videos including one with its beak open like the mouth of a frog. Maybe I will make a video later.
