I dropped by Rouge Beach Park looking for trouble, which for me at the time was trying to get a photo of a Marsh wren that was previously reported but I suspect the report was auditory, not visual. As I proceeded along the fenced walkway between the west end of the park and the short curved boardwalk I noticed several dense clusters of bright red berries supported by purple stalks that were located on the other side of the wooden post fence and about a meter above the wet ground. I'm guessing Virburnum berries, but I'm not berry good at identifying fruit. The leaves were broad and slightly serrated so they are not Cotoneaster berries.

I did hear a Marsh wren between the entrance road and the boardwalk and it was very loud and therefore quite close to where I was standing next to the aluminum bench, but I couldn't see it. I did take a few shots of a female RWBB that was intensely rushed, picking at a developing bull rush to supplement the fibre in its diet.
