Title: Red Neck Grebes at Bronte??

Does anything know what is happening with the Grebes at Bronte Harbour?? I have been going for over a month to look at the grebes waiting for baby grebes to come. There are over 6  grebe pairs maybe eight pairs at the harbour. There was a pair nesting on the tire on the east side of the harbour last Sunday.
I was suprised and disappointed to find the nest abandoned when I got there today. Does anybody know what is happening with the grebes?? Does anybody know where I could go to see baby grebes riding on their mothers back??

Looks like the nest has failed this year.

There's another nest in the Bronte Marsh, but there were no babies as of last Sat.
