Title: Feels like Fall @ the beach, Two Pileated's
Post by: Napper on August 19, 2024, 10:38:35 AM
Hey! Major change overnight, went from hot and muggy to cloudy windy and cool.
July was a bust at the feeder up here, a few Cardinals and the odd Chickadee. This past week activity really ramped up with Both species of Nuthatches very active, Cardinals, Chickadees a Downy Woodpecker. An American Gold finch finally visited the feeder.

Yesterday evening  50 or more Grackles appeared in the tree tops heading North.

This morning I spotted Two Pileated Woodpeckers on a tall Pine tree across the street I watched them for more than 5 minutes.
