Post by: Napper on October 11, 2024, 03:58:45 PM
Mid morning my wife called me out of my basement dudgeon and said come outside and see all of the Vultures. She was hanging laundry on the line at the time.

I step onto the deck and sure enough lots of Turkey Vultures she lost count at 50. They were heading due West at varying altitudes.  I moved to the front of the house and they just kept coming for another 10 minutes. Musta bean hundreds of em.

A group watching TV (w/o cable) at Rosetta McClain Gardens in Scarborough counted over 2,500 vultures.  And if one of those vultures should happen to land, or fall out of the sky there would be 2,499 vultures in flight in the sky, and if another one of those vultures should happen to land, why there would be 2,498 vulture ... you get the picture.  Road trip anyone?
