Title: Juvenile Red-tailed Hawk

Here is a red-tailed hawk just getting ready to leave the nest. I came across it last week and the flight distances were about 200 yards. I saw it the other day and it was about a half a kilometer from the nest.

Here is a kingbird nest that wasnt too far from the hawk nest. I stopped by the other day and the nest was destroyed and the chicks gone.

These pictures are cool, I saw a red tail today for the first time. I'd like to get some action shots like these.
