This morning the sky was clean and blue and the sun was beckoning. I decided to capitulate and return to the sideline that hosted all those snow bunting a few days ago. There was little chance of finding them, but the site is so close that it was worth a try. Along the sideline there were juncos and sparrows, both Tree sparrows and White-throated sparrows. Also saw a couple of cardinals and one blue jay. Once again, no birds of prey made an appearance.
