A beautiful morning, full sun and relatively calm. Temp at 8 a.m. was 1-degree. For the first two hours there was considerable bird activity and then things settled down after 10 o'clock. Sightings (beyond the usual) included: one Eastern Towhee (m), one Fox sparrow, Lots of Brown creepers, lots of CG kinglets, two Ruby-crowned kinglets, two flicker, about five YBSS, E. phoebe x 1, Yellow-rumped warbler x 3, WB nuthatch x 2, Cooper's hawk x 1, Hairy WP x 1, RBWP x1, Hermit thrush x2, and one Winter wren (seen for just a second). Unfortunately, no sign of Pine warblers.
