Title: Kirkland Lake: Finding Gold
Post by: Charline on August 14, 2025, 06:26:35 PM
I just want to mention something that I didn't share in the video. The inn I stayed, was not only a former gold mine, it was a funeral home until.10 years ago.

They gave me a huge suite with a living room, kitchen, bathroom, dining room and other rooms still under renovation. At night, on my pillow, I could hear the low vibrations from the underground gold mines and feel like a prospector!  It's also affordable.

Interesting video.  I have never made it up to Kirkland Lake.  I've only gone as far as Englehart.

Yes, it was an interesting trip! Initially, I plan to go to Matheson. I searched the internet and found my photo from Killarney was ranked as the first image of Matheson! Also, there are no lodging facilities in Matheson.

The photo was taken in 2014. This is the link of that photo from my website: https://charline.pixels.com/featured/rugged-beauty-charline-xia.html (https://charline.pixels.com/featured/rugged-beauty-charline-xia.html)
